37. Paraaparam and Mukthi

Verse 37

பாரப்பா இம்மூலம்தன்னைப் பார்த்து

பராபரத்தில் மூவருந்தான் முத்தியானார்

ஆரப்பா இதையறியாப் பாவிதன்னை

அடித்தடித்தே அப்புறமுந் தள்ள வேண்டும்

நேரப்பா நிறைந்த பராபரத்தினூடே

நீங்காமல் நிறுத்து நினைவாய்ச் சேர்க்கும்

பேரப்பா இதனாலே முத்தி பெற்றார்

பெரியோர்கள் இதனாலே முத்தி பெற்றார்

Translation:

See son, seeing this origin

The triad attained mukti in the Paraparam

The sinner who does not know this,

Should be beaten and pushed away

Within the Paraparam that is pervading

Fix the thoughts without wavering, it will take you.

They attained liberation because of this

Great souls attained mukti because of this.

Commentary: 

The ultimate state of the Divine is Paraaparam.  Tirumular calls this state as the Jyothi while Agatthiyar calls this as svaroopam or the original form.  When awareness or bodham occurs in this state, it becomes Paraaparai. Param and Parai occur from Paraaparai.  Nadha is present in Parai.  From nadha occurs bindhu, the primordial form the source from which the universe emerges. 

Subramanyar says here that the three attained liberation or mukti in within Paraaparam.  The three may be Param, Parai and Paraaparai.  This is the truth and one who does not know this should be discarded and if this state held firmly in the mind (through practice) it will lead to liberation or mukti.

இறைமையின் உச்ச நிலை பராபரம்.  திருமூலர் இந்த நிலையை சோதி ரூபம் என்கிறார் அகத்தியர் இதை சொரூபம் என்கிறார். இந்த நிலையில் போதம் தோன்றும்போது அது பராபரை எனப்படுகிறது.  இந்த பராபரை நிலையிலிருந்து பரம் மற்றும் பரை தோன்றுகின்றனர்.  பறையிடம் நாதம் இருக்கிறது.  இந்த நாதத்திலிருந்து பிந்து தோன்றுகிறது.  இதுவே காணால் காணப்படும் உலகின்மூலம். 

சுப்பிரமணியர் மூவரும் பராபத்தில் முத்தியடைகின்றனர் என்கிறார்.  இந்த மூவர் பராபரை, பரம் மற்றும் பரை ஆவர்.  இந்த உண்மையை அறியாதவரை அடித்து விரட்ட வேண்டும் என்கிறார் சுப்பிரமணியர்.  இந்த நிலையை மனதில் நிலைபெற்று இருக்குமாறு வைத்தால் முக்திக்கு அது அழைத்துச் செல்லும் என்கிறார் அவர்.
