106. Linga in the path of the ratsnake

Verse 106

வாறான சாரையுந்தான் அதிலுதித்தே

வந்துதடா சிவலிங்கம் வழியில் மைந்தா

தாரான சாரையுந்தன் விட்டிடாமல்

சாம்பவியாள் பாதமதில் தயவாய்க்கூடி

நேரான நசிஎன்றே சாபந்தீர்த்து

நீ மகனே முழுவதையும் உண்டு தேறி

பேரான பேரின்ப வீடு சென்று

பிசகாமல் அதிலடங்கி பேணிப்பரே

Translation:

The ratsnake, emerging there

It came in the path of the sivalinga, son

Without leaving the ratsnake

Join it to the sacred feet of Sambhivi

Uttering “nasi” dispelling the curses

You, son, consuming it completely,

Going to the house of supreme bliss

Abide within it and see.

Commentary:

The prana and the fire of kundalini that emerge from the site that Subramanyar mentioned before. On its way is the Sivalinga.  Kundalini is depicted in the muladhara as emerging from the mouth of a linga.  Agatthiyar explains that in a linga the yoni represents the cakra and the linga represents energy emerging from it.  Here Subramanyar is mentioning a similar idea, of kundalini sakti coming out with a linga on its way.  Subramanyar says that the kundalini sakthi should be taken up, to the sacred feet to Shambavi.  The utterance “na si” will dispel all the previous curses.  The nectar will descend from the lalata cakra.  Consuming this Subramanyar says Agatthiyar should go to the supreme state of aananda and abide within it. 

குண்டலினி சக்தியின் எழுச்சியைப் பற்றிப் பேசும் சுப்பிரமணியர் அந்த சக்தி எழும்போது அதன் வழியில்  லிங்கம் உள்ளது என்று கூறுகிறார்.  லிங்கம் என்றால் என்ன என்று விளக்கும் அகத்தியர் அது சக்தி மையம், அதன் யோனி உடலில் உள்ள சக்கரம் என்றும் அதிலிருந்து மேலே எழும் சக்தியே லிங்கம் என்றும் கூறுகிறார்.  சுப்பிரமணியரின் இப்பாடல் அந்த கருத்தையே கூறுகிறது.  இந்த சக்தியை சாம்பவியின் பாதத்தில் சமர்ப்பிக்கவேண்டும் என்றும் சுப்பிரமணியர் கூறுகிறார்.  சக்தியின் பாதம் சகஸ்ராரத்தில் உள்ளது என்று சித்தர்கள் கூறுகின்றனர்.  இதனால் குண்டலினி சக்தியை சகஸ்ராரம் வரை எழுப்பவேண்டும் என்பது இங்கு கூறப்படுகிறது.  இதுவரை இருக்கும் சாபத்தையெல்லாம் ந சி என்று கூறி விலக்கவேண்டும் என்கிறார் சுப்பிரமணியர்.  தமிழில் நசி என்றால் அழிந்துபோ என்று கூறுவது.  பஞ்சாட்சரத்தில் ந என்பது மண்ணின் எழுத்து சி என்பது சிவனின் எழுத்து, அக்னியைக் குறிப்பது.  இதனால் நசி என்பது நம்மைப் பிணைக்கும் கர்மங்களை ஒழிப்பதைக் குறிப்பிடுகிறது.  அப்போது லலாடத்திலிருந்து அமிர்தம் ஊறுகிறது.  அதைப் பருகி ஆனந்த வீட்டை அடைந்து அங்கே நிலைபெற்றிருக்குமாறு சுப்பிரமணியர் அகத்தியருக்குக் கூறுகிறார்.
